Do you need a permit?
Common projects where a permit is NOT required include:
1. Replacing roofs or siding (unless structurally damaged). Exterior changes on non-residential properties require Development Review approval.
2. Playground equipment
3. Retaining walls less than four feet in height
4. Painting and similar finish work. Exterior changes on non-residential properties require Development Review approval.
5. Replacement of light fixtures. Exterior changes on non-residential properties require Development Review approval.
6. Replacement of plumbing fixtures such as sinks or toilets
