Plan Review and Permit Issuance turn around times:

New Commercial - 6-8 Weeks 

Tenant Improvements - 4-6 Weeks

New Residential - 4-6 Weeks (Depending on Volume)

Residential Remodels and Small Projects - 4-6 Weeks (Depending on Volume)

Commercial time frames are based on multiple department and agency reviews and account for a minimal period of response to comments, revisions and corrections.

*Building Energy Envelope Compliance - IDAPA 24.39.30 Section 06. e. :
The building energy envelope shall be tested and verified per the IECC as having an air leakage rate of not exceeding three air changes per hour in Climate Zone 5. Testing shall be conducted in accordance with RESNET/ICC 380, ASTM E779 or ASTM E1827 and reported at a pressure of 0.2 inch w.g. 50 Pascals. 
Exception: Visual Inspection. The Permit Holder will determine at the time of permit application the method of determining building envelope tightness. A visual inspection shall be considered acceptable in lieu of testing when the items listen in Table R402.4.1.1.
**If testing is elected in accordance with RESNET/ICC 380, ASTM E779 or ASTM E1827, it is the responsibility of the applicant to upload the report prior to Final Inspection and Certificate of Occupancy.**
